Lead Nature Teacher, Primary Class

Guinevere’s relationship with Montessori began when she was a Primary student herself. She remembers her time in the Montessori classroom as a formative experience that inspired her to seek an approach to education that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Guinevere developed a love of theater and earned a B.F.A. from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and was also a theater professional for many years. She then worked with children and teenagers creating theater and teaching yoga & movement, as well as working in nature based early childhood programs. Guivevere completed her Level 3 Forest School Leader Certificate in 2026 through a partnership program between MaineEco and the UK’s Under the Hazels.

Lead Montessori Teacher, Primary Class

Bekah is the Lead Montessori Guide in our Primary classroom, where she delights in creating a peaceful, joyful environment that honors each child’s unique path of development. She believes childhood should be filled with wonder and that children thrive when they are trusted, respected, and given the freedom to become capable, independent people.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Bekah spent seven years as a Primary Montessori Guide at Hyde Park Montessori before moving to Maine. She earned her Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary certification at Post Oak School in Houston and continues to deepen her practice through nature-based education, believing that some of the richest learning happens outdoors.

For Bekah, Montessori is more than an educational philosophy—it’s a way of life and a way of seeing children. Whether the class is following animal tracks through the forest, carefully preparing a snack, or witnessing the quiet pride on a child’s face after mastering a new skill, these everyday moments are what inspire her most.

When she’s not at school, Bekah enjoys swimming, kayaking, hiking, bouldering, whittling, and exploring Maine’s beautiful outdoors with her husband, Matt, and their two dogs, Belly Buttons and Mr. Biscuit.

Lead Montessori Teacher, Toddler Class

Tara received her Masters in Education with a certification to teach K-12 Art Education, as well as a bachelor's degree in Studio Arts with a concentration in Ceramics from the University of New Hampshire.

Prior to her role as a Montessori guide, she was an art teacher in a private high school in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Tara completed her AMS Infant/Toddler credential at Northeast Montessori Institute in 2018. Before coming to Seeds of Wonder, Tara worked at a Montessori school for over seven years as a guide for children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years of age, working in a toddler classroom and later overseeing the extended day care program. Tara completed her Level 3 Forest School Leader Certificate in 2026 through a partnership program between MaineEco and the UK’s Under the Hazels.

When not at school, Tara enjoys cooking and playing board games with family, hiking and canoeing with her husband, exploring new areas, walking her dogs, drawing and painting, and especially eating good food!

Co-Lead Montessori Teacher, Toddler Class

Jane has been passionate about working with young children for her entire professional life. Since moving to the Seacoast while studying Social Work at the University of New Hampshire, she has spent the last 7 years working in a Montessori school, both as a teacher and administrator. Through this experience, she fell in love with the Montessori philosophy. In the coming months, she will be finishing up her Infant/Toddler Diploma through the North American Montessori Center. Outside of school, Jane enjoys performing musical theatre locally, and spending time at the beach.

Aftercare Teacher

Christina is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments, encouraging child-led learning, and integrating the arts into daily activities. She practices as a Registered Behavior Technician, and is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting children with unique behavioral needs. She studied Special Education and Musical Theatre at the University of New Hampshire, where she fell in love with the Seacoast. In addition to her experience with children, Christina has also worked professionally as a musical theatre performer and Irish step dancer. In her free time, Christina enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time outdoors in beautiful Maine.
